Direct Access
What is the direct access scheme?
The Direct Access Scheme (D.A.S) enables people aged twenty-four and over to obtain an unrestricted motorcycle license. You must complete a C.B.T course before you can start the direct access scheme. Candidates must pass a motorcycle theory test along with two practical tests. These practical tests are known as the module one and module two, both of which must be completed on a minimum 54bhp (40kwh) motorcycle. Once these steps are complete you can then continune to learn and improve without the need of an instructor. The amount of lessons any individual will need can vary which is why we work on a lesson by lesson basis, everybody learns at their own pace.

Module one and Module two
These are the practical tests that are carried out by a D.V.S.A examiner.

Module one test:
This is conducted on a designated site at a D.V.S.A test center, not on the public highway. It's purpose is for the candidate to demonstrate they have the skill set to perform pre-set motorcycle maneuvers. This will involve some manouvers that you will experience on the C.B.T course. Such as the emergancy stop, all be it mod 1 is completed on a larger size motorcycle. Visit here for more information.

Module
Module two test:
Once you have successfully passed the module one test you can then progress to the module two test and would be a more familiar test to some. Riding on the public highway, again accompained by a D.V.S.A examiner. Much like a car driving test and once this moudule is passed the candidate will then be in possesion of a full motorcycle licence. Visit here for more information
